Hong Kong celebrates today the anniversary of the United Kingdom’s hand over of Hong Kong to the People’s Republic of China. What usually a day on the calendar like any other changed this time. The continuing civil unrest and protests that has rolled through the city for the past several weeks seem to add to the day.
The protestors are demanding the autonomy that was promised to Hong Kong people prior to the British handover and these protests turn out to be some of the largest ever protest gatherings in the history of Hong Kong, if not the world.
The history is preserved thank to a video taken from an amazing perspective, by ever well known Team Blacksheep, from a drone above the city lines. The presentation is so strong, one could feel the crowd’s energy and the power in this video.
