Milam Schultz, 65, felt he had to give up his beloved companion Hot Rod
to the Berkeley Animal Shelter because he could not longer provide a
good home, food or living environment for him. However, Schultz comes to
the shelter several times a week and spends an hour or more visiting
with Hot Rod in the communal play area. Hot Rod is still waiting to be
adopted.
